Brisbane film festival page is about all the diffferent film festivals throughout the year in the city and there are a variety. For foreign films there’s: French Film Festival – March and April German Film Festival – April Spanish Film Festival – May Italian Film Festival – October
There’s also a Mexican Film Festival and a Greek Film Festival.
The Brisbane Queer Film Festival is held annually and exhibits documentaries, feature length and short films highlighting gay cinema and culture. There are also parties and gatherings in conjunction with the films. It’s also on in April.
Brisbane International Film Festival – Started in 1992 and held at venues throughout the city. This festival features a variety of genres and film formats from around the world and focuses on films from the Asia Pacific region. The festival is usually held through November and ticket prices vary depending on the film.
